Caramel Apples
•1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese, softened
•1 (8-oz.) package toffee bits
•3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
•1/2 cup granulated sugar
•1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Stir these together in a saucepan over medium heat until blended and allow to cool. Dip apples that have been fitted with a stick as shown above (or pears work nicely too) and set aside until the dip sets up. Extra great with a sprinkling of chopped nuts.
Makes enough for about 6 large apples
